Don wanted me to remind everyone that with the advent of cold weather, your player can wear anything she/he wants to practice, but your player will definitely want a jacket, etc. Cold weather gear is a must.
Our reschedules in San Angelo did not get rescheduled in time. We have requested to play there on Saturday, 11-14.
It does not look like the Waco Tournament is going to make, so we are pulling out now so we can save the cancellation on our hotel rooms. I'll take care of cancelling our rooms. We are planning to go to a Metroplex tourney in March instead. Pulling out of Waco enables us to make up our league matches, also.
We will practice Tuesday and Thursday at 6:00 at Atkins. It will be dark. Look to the park across the street from Atkins if you do not see the team.

Practice: Tuesday and Thursday, 6: 00 - ?; Atkins MS. As it gets darker earlier, parents will want to arrive earlier to pick their kids up at practice.
We are actively pursuing reschedules for Sunday, November 1st in Midland. We would play two games. It is dependent now on the other teams to contact the league. I have sent them an e-mail reminder.

Great games last week. After a close loss, 0-2, to Nova, the team played well at Midland and defeated the San Angelo club and Midland's West Texas United Silver 3-0 and 3-0!!!
We have practice Tuesday night at Atkins at 6:00. It is not clear when it will end.
We play Arsenal on field E8 at 6:00 Wednesday night. Players need to arrive at 5:15, and we are wearing red shorts and socks. They should ALWAYS have a gray shirt on for warm ups.

We have rooms reserved at the Fairfield Inn North in Waco. I believe the rate is $89 or $84 per room, and our rooms are all double queen rooms that are non smoking. The hotel has indoor pool and free breakfast, and is newly remodeled. The families that have rooms there are Koontz, Hickerson, Reyna, Wigington, Hernandez, and Huber. Anyone else who wants a room there can call and reserve one by giving the block name "Lonestar" for November 13-15. YOU MUST CALL BEFORE THE END OF THE DAY ON OCTOBER 12TH. On the 13th, the rooms that are not assigned to a name will be deleted from the block. The numbers are 866-803-9666, or 254-412-2535. You will need to reserve your own room with a credit or debit card.
I will register our team on 10-8, unless we do not have enough money to do so.

October dues are due. We desperately need everyone to pay - Waco Tournament fees are due at the end of the week. I will be at practice Thursday to collect them, before 6:00, and after 7:30.
